Bernice Summerfield

Bernice Summerfield was introduced as a companion to the 7th Doctor in the Virgin New Adventures range of novels. Subsequently she had her own spin-off series of novels, and also has an on-going series of audio dramas. The first season consisted of stories that were adapted from previously published Virgin New Adventures novels (with all mention of the Doctor removed) but all the remainder are new & original tales, although they sometimes include characters and situations from Doctor Who audios, novels & the TV series.
