Written and self-published in July 2009, this is an attempt to list every single official and semi-official Doctor Who story, in every format (audio, comic, novel, radio, short story, TV, etc) that has been created as part of this great fictional concept. All the associated spin-off series are included too, with explanations of how they relate to the main story line.
Over 3400 stories are covered - with very basic details of their content - in two parts. Firstly an attempt has been made to present every Doctor Who story in one single, consecutive order. No-one’s likely to agree with the actual order of stories, but its still a bit of fun to examine. Secondly all the stories are listed by format, with specific reference to who wrote them as well. It covers 440 audio stories, 670 comic strips, 550 novels, almost 1500 short stories and over 300 TV / radio stories, plus a whole lot more.
All of this is presented in the form of just over 200 photocopied A4 pages in a ring-bound format, which weighs 600 grams and as a result postage isn’t cheap.
As it says in the book’s introduction … unauthorised, unofficial and NOT entirely accurate … are the key words to remember when reading this publication.
The price includes the cost of postage within Australia, however overseas buyers will be asked to pay an additional amount for air mail postage as follows -
New Zealand - an extra $5
USA / Canada - an extra $12
UK / Europe - an extra $17.
All amounts are in Australian dollars.
Amateur Guide To Doctor Who Stories 1963-2008 (MIS-PRINT)
$22.00
Exactly the same as described above ... except that the ring binding was accidentally placed on the right side of the book instead of the left for a small number of copies, which are being sold cheaply (instead of being thrown away).
